Don R. Brown of Newnan, Georgia, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend passed away after a brief but courageous battle with cancer on Sunday, October 4, 2026.
Born in Beattyville, Kentucky on Friday, March 25, 1960, he was the son of the late Early Pharris Brown and the late Jane Flannery Brown.
Don was the owner of ComputerTechUSA which he proudly operated for over 25 years. Don was a one-of-a-kind man with a personality all his own. He had strong opinions and a presence that people remembered. He made an impression on everyone, and those who knew him will carry memories of him for years to come.
In addition to his wife, Debra, Don is survived by his daughters, Dawn Renee brown, Rachel Nicole Brown, and Kristin Richelle Wade (Beau); his grandchildren, Brielle Hilton, Cameron Caccamo, Alison Cargle, Ella Barnes, Mia Wade, and Lukas Barnes; his brother, Earl Brown (Judy); his sisters, Gloria B. Hughes, Brenda Slusher (Kenny), Debbie Gabbard, and Teresa Napier; his brothers-in-law, Jim Newby and Marty Broaddus; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, and other extended family and friends who will forever cherish the memories they shared with him.
Don was preceded in death by his parents and his sisters, Christine Brown and Helen Bruce (John).
Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 9, 2026 at 2:00 PM in the chapel of McKoon Funeral Home & Crematory, 38 Jackson St., Newnan, GA. Visitation will be from 1 – 2 PM.
Serving as pallbearers will be Cameron Caccamo, Beau Wade, Joshua Stattuck, Adrian Dominguez, Kevin Khamphounvong, and Ronnie Chavez.
Burial with military honors will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery, 96 Jefferson St., Newnan, GA.
