William Paul Snowden,

William Paul Snowden, husband of Mable Dunaway Snowden and the son of the late Lowell and Luna Spencer Snowden was born in Austin, Indiana on December 15, 1942 and departed this life at this home in St. Helens, Kentucky on April 7, 2024 at the age of 81 years, 3 months, and 23 days. He retired from the City of Beattyville after working for 30 years in maintenance and as a water plant operator. He had a love for dogs, especially his two She-Ra and Patchy. He was also a very large donator to the ASPCA and St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.

In addition to his wife, Mable, William is survived by his son, Anthony P. Snowden both of St. Helens, Kentucky; one sister-in-law, Linda Snowden, wife of the late Robert Snowden; his siblings, Joyce Hahn of Cincinnati, Ohio, Janice G. Palmer of Austin, Indiana, Danny and Kenny D. Snowden both of St. Helens, Kentucky, Brenda Moberly of Lexington, Kentucky, Jennifer Shelton and husband Thomas and Sandy Spicer all of St. Helens, Kentucky; and a host of other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Bryan Snowden; and one brother, Robert Snowden. A memorial service will be scheduled at a later date. Newnam in charge of arrangements.
