The Beattyville Enterprise Photo Contest
Growing up in the country, summer is a special time. The warm weather, emerald forest, wildlife, and plant life, and no school, provide ample time and opportunity to enjoy and lose yourself in countless projects.
Whether watching a bass take a lure, hearing a turkey come off roost, thrilling at the night sounds of deep throated bullfrogs, and the plaintive hoot of an owl, racing around the bases with a stand up triple, launching the perfect shot on a dirt court, walking down the aisle in a wedding gown, or just laying around in a hammock or perched on a bale of hay, some moments stick with you throughout life.
In an effort to capture the essence of summer from the perspective of our readers, The Beattyville Enterprise and local business, Beartrack Tourism Enterprises, are sponsoring a photo contest.
To encourage photographers, the winner of the contest will receive a $100 cash prize.
All photos will be published in The Beattyville Enterprise and readers will clip out the voting form to vote for the best photo.
Photos must be pictures of Lee County or surrounding areas. Photographers can enter no more than two photographs. Simply clip the entry form out of the newspaper and either bring it with photo into our office, email photo along with entry form to email@example.com, or mail it to The Beattyville Enterprise. Our address is PO Box 126, Beattyville, KY 41311.
You can vote as many times as you like, but each vote has to be submitted on an official slip. Those with E-Edition must submit your user name with your official voting slip and E-Edition subscribers can only vote once when voting begins.
