Stevie Young, age 64, passed away Sunday, September 21, 2025 unexpectedly in Frankfort, KY.
Stevie was born March 14, 1961 in Booneville, KY, a son to the late Robert and Monjoy (Sandlin) Young. In his free-time he loved riding his motorcycle, and enjoyed the outdoors. He made his living as a truck driver, doing the occasional construction job. He was well known in the community with a big heart, and always willing to help others. Stevie leaves behind 4 children; Steven Young, Hunter (Macey) Young, Levi (Jessica) Young, and Brooke Hansen, 5 sisters & 2 brothers; Lora (John) Eversole, Bonnie Perry, Thelma (Curtis) Kennedy, Darlene Wilson (Charlie Turner), Rose (Sean) Pierson, Bobby Joe (Shirley) Young, Gary Lynn (Paula) Young, Neal Young, and Robbie Young, 10 grandchildren, 16 nieces & nephews, many cousins, and other loving family members, and friends.
Along with his parents; Robert and Monjoy, he was preceded in death by brothers; Robert Young Jr., Mike Young, James Eric Young, and Richard Young.
A graveside service held Friday, September 26, 2025 at the Marshall Family Cemetery, located in Booneville, KY. Booneville Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
