Marietta Napier, age 68, passed away Sunday, July 27, 2025 at her residence in Booneville, KY. Marietta was born August 1, 1957, in Oneida, KY, a daughter to the late Ance Short and Edith (Fox) Short. She is survived by 1 daughter; Patricia Adams of Beattyville, Ky, 3 brothers; Paul Short of Booneville, KY, Robert (Joyce) Short and William (Shirley) Short, both of Georgetown, KY, 1 brother in law; Kenny Marshall of Booneville, KY, 5 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren along with many other loving family members, and friends.
Marietta was preceded in death by her parents, one son; Charles Daniel and one sister, Dorothy Marshall. No services are scheduled at this time. The Booneville Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
