Linda Kay Ratliff 68, passed away Sunday, August 10, 2025 at her residence from a long illness. Linda was born August 3, 1957 in Oneida, Kentucky. She was the daughter of late Jessie and Bessie Marie Neeley Yarber. She was faithful member of the Royal Oak Baptist Church. She was a homemaker.
Linda is survived by her husband of 49 years Hershel Ratliff, son Jeffery Lee “Fiancee Shannon Taylor” Ratliff of Booneville, Kentucky, grandsons, Ryan “Amelia” Ratliff of Jackson County, Kentucky, Jacob “MicKayla Mason” Ratliff and Charlie Ratliff of Booneville, sisters Brenda “Scott Clark” Yarber and Carolyn Moore, both of Jackson County; Pam “Bobby” Hunter of Booneville and several nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents Jessie and Bessie Yarber.
Visitation will be held Thursday, August 14 from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Searcy and Strong Funeral Home. Funeral service will begin at 11:00 am on Friday, August 15 at Searcy and Strong Funeral Home with Brother Harold Hayes officiating. Burial will follow in the Ratliff Family Cemetery in Booneville, Kentucky.
