KY 2016 in Lee County to be closed Saturday, Nov. 22

Drivers who use KY 2016 (Big Andy Ridge Road) in Lee County should prepare to use an alternate route on Saturday, Nov. 22.

The road will be closed at milepoint 3.0 for replacement of a drainage pipe. This is just south of Cliffs Run Road and 1.2 miles north of the North Fork of the Kentucky River bridge at Airedale. Work will begin at 8 a.m. and should be completed by 4 p.m.

No signed detour will be posted. Drivers can use KY 52, KY 11, and KY 715 through Wolfe County as an alternate route to avoid the closure.

In case of inclement weather, the closure may be postponed until another suitable day.

Approximately 110 vehicles use this section of KY 2016 each day.
