Janice G. Palmer, passed away peacefully at her residence in Austin, Indiana, on Sunday, July 27, 2025, at the age of 80. Born on July 21, 1945, in Scottsburg, Indiana, Janice was the daughter of the late Lowell Snowden and Luna (Spencer) Snowden.
On June 21, 1963, Janice married the love of her life, Danny Palmer, who sadly preceded her in death. Janice's passion for beauty and her artistic touch as a beautician brought light and confidence to her many clients over the years. She was also a member of the Austin Christian Church.
Janice's legacy is carried on by her family, including her daughter, Kim Amrhein (Randall Scott Bailey) of Austin, Indiana; her son, Tim (Kim) Palmer of Madison, Indiana; her siblings,Danny Wayne Snowden of St. Helens, KY; Kenny Snowden of St. Helens, Ky., Joy Hahn of North Bend, Ohio; Brenda Moberly of Nicholasville, Ky. Jennifer Shelton of St. Helens, Ky; Sandy Spicer of St. Helens, KY. Janice's joy was multiplied by her four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren, who will miss her dearly but will always cherish the memories they created together.
Janice was also preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Bobby and Paul Snowden.
Cremation was chosen, honoring Janice's wishes. She will be laid to rest at St. Helens Cemetery in St. Helens, Kentucky.
