Jackson County won the last time they faced Lee County, and things went their way once again on Friday night. The Generals delivered a commanding performance, defeating the Bobcats 81–31 and securing their second straight victory of the season.
The win keeps Jackson County undefeated with a 2–0 start. Lee County, meanwhile, fell to 0–2 with the loss, extending their road losing streak to six games, a stretch that dates back to last season.
Both teams will return to action quickly and are looking forward to the backing of their home crowds in their upcoming matchups. Jackson County will take the court again on Saturday at 5:45 p.m. when they host Red Bird, marking their first conference test of the year. Lee County also has a short turnaround as they prepare for their home game against Pikeville at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday.
