Christopher Charles Sawyer, husband of Ellen Ruby Lee Clubb Sawyer and son of Charles and Madeline McIntosh Sawyer was born in Irvine, Kentucky on November 3, 1980 and departed this life in Lexington, Kentucky on July 7, 2025 at the age of 44 years, 8 months, and 4 days. He worked for Save-a-lot as a meat cutter for almost 10 years. Christopher was a man defined by his caring heart, his warm smile, and unwavering thoughtfulness that touched all that knew him. He never failed to ask how your parents and children were doing and did it with genuine care, rooted in deep kindness that set him apart. He will be deeply missed by those that knew him.

In addition to his wife Ellen Sawyer of Bowling Green, Kentucky and his parents Charles and Madeline Sawyer both of Beattyville, Kentucky, Christopher is survived by a daughter, Sydney Lynn Sawyer of Bowling Green; a grandson, Corbin Christopher Coy also of Bowling Green; his grandmother, Mary Jane McIntosh; a sister, Melissa Jane Caudill and husband Garland; a nephew, Gavin Caudill all of Beattyville, Kentucky; as well as a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Services July 11th, 2025 at Newnam Funeral Home of Beattyville. Burial Rock of Ages Cemetery of Lee County. Newnam in charge of arrangements.
