FROM OUR ARCHIVES: Trooper Troy Brandenburg returns to serve Lee County - June 6, 1991

This week you may have noticed a familiar face in a KSP cruiser around the county.
Trooper Troy Brandenburg, a 13 year veteran, has returned following a two year assignment in the Richmond Post 7 vicinity.
Trooper Howard Logue, Jr. a native of Harrodsburg, in Mercer County, who had been assigned to Lee and Owsley Counties since November 1990, and had made Beattyville his home, has been transferred to Madison County.
Logue, 23, is married and has one child. He leaves the area with high regards from fellow law officers in Lee County.
KSP Tpr. Brandenburg, a native of Lee County, graduated from Lee County High Sc hool in 1971, and Berea College, where he received a B.S. in industrial arts.
Making his home on South Fork Road, Brandenburg is married and has two daughters. His eife, Jeanette is a fifth grade teacher at Beattyville Elementary. Daughters Tamara Camille 15, and Taryn Nicole, 8, attend Lee County schools.
Since becoming a member of the Kentucky State Police in 1978, Tpr. Brandenburg has spent most of his time in Lee and Owsley counties.
A healthy Lee County requires great community news.
