Mary Stacy

 Mary Stacy, age 78, passed away Wednesday, April 23, 2025 at her home in Booneville, KY. Mary was born April 15, 1947 in Johnson County, KY, a daughter to the late Earl Salyers, and Oma (Pennington) Salyers. She was a homemaker, and in her free-time she enjoyed sewing, watching WLJC, and being with her grandchildren & great-grandchildren. She was a member of Abba’s House church in Beattyville, KY.

   She is survived by 1 son; Donnie Vanhoose of Dayton, OH, 1 daughter; Omanda (Earl) Cockerham of Booneville, KY, grandchildren; Skylor (Raven) Cockerham, Brayden Cockerham, Ashley (Darian) Cornett, and Matthew Vanhoose, as well as 6 great-grandchildren; Paisley Bentley, Wrenley Cockerham, Camden Cole, Copper Cornett and other loving family members, and friends.

   Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by 1 daughter; Patricia Durbin.

   Funeral services  held Tuesday, April 29, 2025 at the Booneville Funeral Home with Nikki Horn officiating. She was laid to rest in the Durbin Cemetery located in Beattyville, KY. The Booneville Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
