Terry Jo Horton Booth

Terry Jo Horton Booth, wife of Charles P. Booth, Sr. and daughter of Robert (Bob) Horton and Maude Brandenburg Horton was born in Richmond, KY on January 14, 1955. In addition to her husband, Charles of 31 years, she is survived by one daughter, Heather L. Center of Richmond, Kentucky. She leaves behind one granddaughter, Jaxtin S. Taulbee of Richmond, Kentucky. She is survived by two brothers, Bill Horton of Irvine, Kentucky and Donnie and Tillie Horton of Mt. Sterling, Kentucky. She is also survived by three step-children, Charles Booth of Leeco, Kentucky, Crystal and Mike Carroll of Mt. Sterling, Kentucky, and Clarissa Booth of Independence, Kentucky; one big sister, Alice Faye Holskey of Winchester, Kentucky; 9 step grandchildren and 9 step great-grandchildren.

    She was preceded in death by three brothers, Bobby Gene Horton, Jack Horton, and Gary Horton. She is also survived by a host of nieces and nephews, as well as two cat babies, B.J. and Bell.

    Serving as pallbearers: Firefighters, Nate Liar, Brendan Leader, Teresa York, Tyler Phillips, Thomas Miller, and Norman Miller. Honorary Pallbearers will be Bill Horton, Donnie Horton, Jack Taulbee, Bill Holskey, Mike Carroll, Charles Booth II, Tim Gross, Jeremy Horton, and Brian Horton.

   Services held April 28th, 2025 at Community Christian Church of Beattyville. Burial in Booth Cemetery of Fixer Rd, Lee Co. Newnam Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
