HAZARD, Ky. (WYMT) – Perry County families are in need of water and the Hazard Pavilion is now offering their showers to the public.
Rick Steele, Director of Operations, says he understands what it is like to go days without showering, and they hope to help folks in any way they can.
“People are really wanting to get that water back on and I understand it,” Steele said. “I’ve been in this position myself last winter, and I used the facilities before work. I’m glad to be able to offer it.”
The pavilion plans to keep their showers open to the public until running water returns to homes in the area.
